Welcome to Thornhouse Farm, a place to Pick-Your-Own Fruit for all the family

Near the small village of Kirdford, West Sussex, only 30 minutes from Guildford and Chichester, and 20 minutes from Haslemere is Thornhouse Farm, one of the oldest fruit farms in this well known fruit growing area. At Thornhouse Farm you may select your own fruit right off the tree. We have many varieties of plums, apples and pears. See the calendar for exact varieties and picking dates. We are in the middle of the lovely Sussex countryside with super views, and you are welcome to picnic here as well as to look at the animals

Still n early season, Victorias ripening and ready to pick as well as Greengages. Cookers available with Worcerts sweet, biut not ripe. Some like them like that! All other fruit looking good!

We will be at the Farmers markets in Petworth and Midhurst from July through to November. Newly attending Chichester as well. Cakes, Jams and Chutneys will be available at the Markets. Limited stock available at the farm, Do please ring to check if there is something you particularly want.

For those interested in animals, we have alpacas, dexter cattle, free range pigs, and sheep and have fibre and fleece and carded batts available for home spinning. See our online shop for pricing.

Open from 10am to 4:30pm every day during the season which starts in late July and finishes in early October. Please check calendar for exact variety availability or contact us.
